No ice cream without an electric motor

An ice cream waffle is a Danish classic on a hot summer day. But there is nothing old-fashioned about the production behind it. When the cold temptation hits the refrigerated counter, it is, among other things, the result of a close collaboration between Fabrika’s product specialists and the engineers at Gram Equipment. The ice is often produced with machines supplied by Gram Equipment in Aarhus – and those machines have electric motors supplied by Fabrika.

Possibility of customized solutions with Fabrika

Electric motors are vital components in freezing machines. The electric motors help ensure circulation in the ice mass, and this puts very high demands on the equipment. The electric motors must not only be reliable and possible to control precisely, they must also be adaptable to the customer’s very specific needs. Here, the engineers at Gram Equipment work closely with Fabrika’s product specialists to specify the motors according to the special requirements that apply in different markets around the world.

Fabrika as a regular supplier and quality assurance

Gram Equipment is the result of a merger between WCB Ice Cream and the traditional Danish refrigerator manufacturer Gram. Today, Gram Equipment supplies sophisticated production equipment to the entire global ice cream production industry. 

For several years, Fabrika has been a regular supplier of electric motors from Innomotics directly to Gram’s production. The electric motors that Gram Equipment buys from Fabrika come from Innomotics and are sent directly from Germany to Gram’s production in Kolding. Before then, Fabrika’s technicians have written the specifications for the products, and Fabrika’s quality specialists follow production and logistics closely.
